Ayurvedic Tips for Fall
According to Ayurveda, Fall is the vata season and there is an increase in atmospheric qualities such as cold and cool temperatures, lightness and dryness in the air, roughness, harshness, movement and activity.
To avoid vata imbalances and to keep yourself in balance, counterbalance these qualities with foods and lifestyle practices that are warming, calming, heavy, grounding and moisturizing. The body and mind need extra love, affection and nourishment.
During this season, focus on slowing down, eat warming foods and practice more self-care.
